Great to meet you!

What my clients should know is that I bring over 14 years of experience helping individuals, couples, children, and adolescents navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Barry University in 2005 and am trained in EMDR, a powerful approach for processing trauma. My therapeutic style blends cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, tailored to each person’s unique needs. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly seen and heard. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, connected, and capable of making lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy begins with taking the time to comprehensively understand your current challenges and how your past experiences may be influencing them. I believe that real change starts with feeling truly seen and understood, and I work to create a safe space where that can happen. Once we have a clear picture, I present treatment options and explain how different approaches might support your goals. Together, we develop a personalized plan and work collaboratively toward meaningful, lasting progress. I see therapy as a partnership where your voice, values, and pace lead the way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a therapeutic relationship built on dedication, consistency, and integrity. I make it a priority to truly understand and support each person I work with, showing up fully in every session. You’ll have a therapist who is relentless in helping you move toward your goals, no matter how big or small. Together, we’ll create a space where progress is not only possible but sustainable. My commitment is to walk with you every step of the way until you feel empowered, healed, and confident in your growth.
