Michael Morlock

Hello! My name is Mike Morlock, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed in Colorado and Montana. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression for individuals in addition to couples and family therapy. I am EMDR Certified and an EMDR Approved Consultant, and I also use other therapies including IFS, Flash Technique, CBT, and family/couples systems perspectives to help you recover from any stuck points in your life. My motto is that our symptoms always make sense, we just need to figure out how it all fits together. I focus first on listening and understanding, and helping you to understand why you feel the way you do on a deeper, more comprehensive level. Then we create a treatment plan that gives you the tools to manage better, and we identify and reprocess past significant events that are contributing to how you feel. Let's get started.

In the first couple of sessions, I want you to feel heard and understood. I want you to be able to understand how you got here, what contributed to you feeling this way. We create tools that are specific to you to help you manage your emotions, and if needed, we use a therapy such as EMDR in order to reprocess past significant events that are still causing disturbance.
