Michael Nash is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, dual board-certified in psychiatric-mental health and family practice. He's focused on psychiatric medication management for adults, practicing across Southern California since 2016.
I think good psychiatric care depends on someone actually knowing your history — so you'll see me every visit, not a rotating panel, and we'll build your treatment plan together. A lot of people come to me having felt rushed or dismissed before. I work the other way: I'll explain the reasoning behind every recommendation, so the decisions are yours to make, not just handed to you.
My focus is medication management. I also provide supportive therapy within our visits — practical work on understanding your diagnosis and what actually helps — but I don't offer standalone therapy sessions. Throughout, I pay attention to the whole picture: your sleep, energy, focus, and physical health, because psychiatric medications affect all of it.
