Great to meet you!

I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University's Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and have spent my postgraduate career working in private practice. I have particular experience in working with folks struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties and self-image.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on establishing a strong therapy relationship in which you can feel safe, respected, empowered, and cared for. I believe that meaningful engagement in such a relationship is the main driving force in processing difficult feelings and experiences, building insight, and producing change. I also pay particular attention to the role that early-life experiences and relationships, culture, and other meaningful contexts play in shaping our thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

I see myself as an active participant in the therapy process and strive to bring warmth, empathy, curiosity, and a sense of humor in to our work together. You can expect me to provide a collaborative space where we work together, through open and reflective conversations, to identify, understand, and work towards changes in the difficulties you are facing.
