Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Andrews University. My professional experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families navigating addiction recovery, trauma, and relational challenges. I provide a compassionate and collaborative environment that encourages reflection, growth, and lasting change. My goal is to help clients strengthen resilience, re-author limiting narratives, and move toward greater emotional balance and connection in their personal and relational lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic orientation integrates systemic and postmodern approaches, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Collaborative Dialogue. I also incorporate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care to address each client’s unique needs and goals. I am also trained in CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) where family members can play a powerful and positive role in encouraging their loved one with addiction to enter treatment and change behavior without using confrontation or enabling. This framework allows me to view clients within the context of their relationships, experiences, and the stories that shape their lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm and collaborative space to discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, relationships, and current concerns, while you have the opportunity to share at your own pace. This session helps us clarify goals, explore initial insights, and determine how we can best work together. My focus is on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to begin the process of change.
