Great to meet you!

My name is Michael "Thad" Owens and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who serves patients within the state of Florida. I would love to help you reach your behavioral health goals. Treatment specialties include anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and sleep.

I received my training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner through the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019 and have served the Panhandle area of Florida (Panama City and outlying areas) since that time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to ensure that every patient I see feels heard and cared for with compassion and encouragement. I love to provide several options and work together to determine the best plan. Specialties include anxiety and ADHD treatment.

What you can expect from our first session

Goals include, first spending adequate time to understand each patient's needs. We will develop a plan of treatment together and will adjust the plan as needed as we progress.

Patients should feel respected and cared for with no judgement, or thoughts that their concerns are being discounted.
