Dr. Michael Prezioso

Dr. Prezioso is a Licensed Psychologist with 40 years of professional experience. HIs career has included leadership roles as Commissioner of Saratoga County's Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Director of Inpatient Services at the Capital District Psychiatric Center and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Albany Medical College.

Today, Dr. Prezioso is the Owner of Blue Line Psychological, LLC, a practice devoted to those with traumatic event experiences. Public safety and emergency services personnel, veterans and front line medical staff are a particular focus.

Dr. Prezioso is the Lead Clinician of the Saratoga County First Responder Peer Support Team, and serves as a New York Law Enforcement Assistance Program Clinician, New York State Trooper PBA Trooper Surgeon, and Western New York Law Enforcement Helpline Clinician. His expertise includes consultation, training and program development for emergency services agencies across New York State.

In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Prezioso is a certified EMT and Volunteer Firefighter. His service to the EMS and emergency services communities has been recognized at the local, regional and State level with the Harriet C. Weber EMS Leadership Award and New York State Department of Health/NYS EMS Council Excellence in EMS Quality and Safety Awards.

Blue Line Psychological, LLC, is dedicated to reducing emotional pain and suffering, and recognizes post traumatic growth as a desired goal. The practice incorporates a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, to facilitate the process.
