Hello there, my name is Michael and I am a licensed professional counselor with a masters degree in counseling from the University of West Florida. My education and interests highlight multicultural counseling, human sexuality, and substance abuse.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style of therapy highlights the importance of understanding the context of a person’s life when considering the challenges they face and emphasizes personal responsibility for overcoming those challenges. I provide an interpersonal and humanistic approach to counseling. I have also provided trauma focused care as well. I have experience providing therapy to people managing with; depression, anxiety, relationship issues and substance use.
