Great to meet you!

Life is hitting you hard right now and maybe you're stuck, feel alone, struggle accomplishing tasks, struggle with the way your mind works, or you feel like there's not much meaning in your life. I am Michael Sheffield and alongside obtaining Master's degree, I have been working with people for 4 years. My life and training lead me towards these challenges, my listed treatment areas, as well as self-judgement, relationship stress, pessimism, anger, life building, workaholism, & chronic pain.

My approach to therapy

Our work will be completed through a combination of ACT therapy/coaching and existential philosophy. Through these modalities, we will work through challenges and build coping skills, while establishing and pursuing value-based goals. Working together, you will build a solid understanding of your mind, own a dependable strategy for responding to internal and external situations, get clarity about who you are and what you care about, and follow through on commitments that you make to yourself.

What you can expect from me

8 years ago, I sustained a spinal cord injury that completely shifted my priorities. It is my passion to talk about that which matters in life, while helping people find their true purpose and to ACT on it. I think my life experience makes me uniquely qualified to help people develop motivated action and find peace through turbulence. My whole purpose with clients is to help them build a full and meaningful life. I'm very skilled at helping people do that. Let's build you up together.
