Great to meet you!

Whether you are dealing with self-doubt, boundary issues, anger, trauma, depression, anxiety or something else – I want to help. I have years of experience supporting people with severe and persistent mental disorders, mild – severe substance use disorders and complex post traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD).

My approach to therapy

Therapy doesn’t mean forever. I practice strengths-based, solutions-focused therapy. I use a variety of modalities – cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness – aiming to provide brief interventions for busy people who are willing to change their behaviors or looking for a reframed perspective on their environment. I believe in optimism, humanism, and positive psychology – which is a practical approach that indicates strengths can be strengthened and deficits are not set.

What you can expect from me

Being invited into someone’s thoughts and feelings is a privilege that I approach with empathy and unconditional positive regard.
