Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for a different perspective, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I support people navigating self-doubt, boundary issues, anger, trauma, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety, substance use, and complex post-traumatic stress. I also have experience supporting people living with severe and persistent mental health conditions. I offer individual online therapy, with evening and weekend sessions. I’m a South Carolina–licensed clinical social worker (LISW-CP) with an MPA and MSW. My training includes University of South Carolina certificates in drug and addiction studies and psychiatric rehabilitation.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based and solutions-focused. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, choosing the tools that fit your goals. I value empathy and unconditional positive regard, and I see it as a privilege to be invited into your thoughts and feelings. Sessions may include brief, practical interventions for busy people who want to change behaviors or develop a new perspective on their environment. Therapy doesn’t have to be forever; we’ll focus on what feels most useful for you right now.

What you can expect from me

In sessions, you can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental space to talk openly about what’s happening and what you want to be different. We can work together to clarify your perspective, notice patterns, build practical coping strategies, and identify next steps that feel realistic. You may leave with a clearer understanding of your concerns and a few concrete ideas to consider between sessions—without pressure to have everything figured out at once.
