Great to meet you!

Have things felt harder lately, even if you're not sure why? Therapy with me isn't about endless processing — it's about helping you actually move forward.

I'm Michael, a dual-licensed therapist (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist + Licensed Professional Counselor) with experience helping adults work through anxiety, life transitions, and the kind of stress that builds up when you've been holding too much for too long.

I'm also a Christian, and faith has shaped both who I am and how I approach this work. For clients who want to integrate faith into therapy — through prayer, scripture, or simply working from a shared worldview — I welcome that and bring it in fully. For clients who don't, you'll find me equally engaged and ready to help. My goal is to meet you where you are, not to bring you somewhere you didn't ask to go.

My style is warm, honest, and direct. We won't just talk about problems — we'll work toward real change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, focused, and grounded in respect for who you are and where you're headed. I won't keep you stuck in stories you've already told a hundred times. We'll figure out what's actually getting in the way, build a clear path forward, and start making moves.

I draw from evidence-based therapy approaches and adapt them to fit you, not the other way around. For clients who want their faith integrated into the work, I incorporate Christian principles and — where it's helpful — prayer or scripture-based reflection. For clients who don't, the same care, the same focus, the same goal: real change at a pace that works for you.

What stays consistent across all of it: I'll be warm, honest, and direct. I won't pretend I have answers I don't, and I won't waste your time.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll take time to understand what's bringing you in and what you'd like to see change. I'll ask questions to get a clear picture of your situation, and we'll begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful.

By the end, we'll have an early sense of what we'd work on together and whether the fit feels right.

You can expect a calm, respectful environment where you feel heard — and a focused approach that helps us start making real progress right away. There's no pressure to commit beyond that first conversation.
