I am a clinical psychologist and have been in practice for over 30 years. I have served as consultant at The Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Terrence Cardinal Cooke Healthcare Center, and the New York City police Department. and I have been involved in organizing international psychology conferences. In my private practice I work with adult individuals and couples.
Trained at the New York University Postdoctoral program my approach is interpersonal, with emphasis on exploring behavior patterns that get in the way of living well. The work is collaborative, recognizing individual differences and the impact of personal history.
Since I view psychotherapy as a joint effort clients will be engaged in finding solutions that are right for them and their circumstances. The work will be tailored to the unique challenges that one faces at any given time.
