Michael Stevens, MS, LADC 1, MSPGS, Retired Police Officer, specializing in substance abuse disorders, gambling, trauma, veterans and first responder to issues. I have worked in the field of substance use disorders trauma and mental health for 20 years experiencing a broad range of use disorders, trauma, and people desperate for help. Major focus of my work has been helping those struggle with life changing problems.

My approach to therapy

My practice prioritizes a client approach utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and talk therapy. All sessions are conducted with the trauma informed approach that takes into account Past trauma and personalized life experiences. My goal with each client is to improve their quality of life help them build insight into their barriers to a successful and good happy life happy life.
