Michael Stoneking

I’m Michael Stoneking, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults through telehealth in Florida. I help adults experiencing anxiety, depression, panic attacks, trauma-related symptoms, mood concerns, and sleep difficulties. My background in critical care nursing informs how I consider both physical and mental health. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, discussing concerns, and taking an active role in your care.

I take time to understand what you’re experiencing and what you want to improve. We’ll discuss treatment options together, including potential medication benefits, side effects, and alternatives. Follow-up visits focus on how you’re feeling, how treatment is working, and any adjustments you may need. I also incorporate brief supportive therapy and practical coping strategies into medication-management visits and can coordinate with your therapist when appropriate.

Your first visit is a 60-minute telehealth evaluation. We’ll talk about what brought you in, your symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, and previous treatment experiences. You’ll have time to ask questions and explain what matters most to you. Together, we’ll develop an initial plan, which may include medication, coping strategies, or recommendations for additional care. We’ll also discuss follow-up and how we’ll assess your progress.
