Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults. I have a background in critical care and nursing, which allows me to take a holistic approach to mental health—considering both psychological and medical factors when developing treatment plans.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping patients feel better and function at their best. In addition to medication management, I incorporate brief, evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy to help patients build coping skills and improve daily functioning.

My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard and supported. I work closely with each individual to develop a treatment plan tailored to their needs, with a focus on long-term stability and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvement. I begin with a thorough evaluation to understand your symptoms, history, and goals, and then work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

I primarily provide medication management, ensuring that treatment is safe, effective, and adjusted as needed over time. In addition, I incorporate brief, evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy to help patients develop coping skills, manage stress, and improve day-to-day functioning.

I believe in clear communication, education, and shared decision-making, so you feel informed and confident in your treatment. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where we can work together to improve your mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a comprehensive and structured evaluation focused on understanding your concerns, symptoms, and goals for treatment. We will review your mental health history, medical background, current symptoms, and any previous treatments to get a clear picture of what’s going on.

By the end of the session, we will work together to develop an initial treatment plan tailored to your needs. This may include medication recommendations, education about your condition, and practical strategies to help you start feeling better. I also incorporate brief therapeutic support to help you begin building coping skills right away.

My goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. You will leave the session with a clear plan, next steps, and an understanding of what to expect moving forward.
