Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and never judged. My approach is collaborative and practical, helping you develop skills that you can use outside of our sessions rather than simply talking through problems week after week. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps people respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while taking meaningful action toward the life they want to build.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or overwhelming stress, my goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing and feel supported as we work toward lasting change. I strive to balance compassion with directness, offering both validation and practical strategies to help you move forward in a way that aligns with your values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps clients develop psychological flexibility by changing their relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions rather than trying to eliminate them. Together, we focus on identifying what matters most to you and taking meaningful, values-driven steps toward the life you want to live.

I believe that lasting change comes from building self-awareness, practicing acceptance, and developing practical skills that can be applied in everyday life. While ACT serves as the foundation of my work, I also integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based interventions when they best meet a client's unique needs and goals.

My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build resilience, and create lasting change. I view therapy as a partnership, working alongside you to navigate life's challenges while helping you develop the confidence and skills to move forward with greater purpose and well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and determine whether we are a good fit.

My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment free environment where you can share at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying the challenges you are facing, explore what is most important to you, and develop an initial plan for moving forward. You do not need to have everything figured out before our first meeting. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will work together to determine the best path toward your goals.
