Michael Wolftrand

Hello everyone!

As a Registered Play Therapist and trained Acceptance and Commitment Therapy provider, I work to empower clients to find what is missing in their lives through talk or through play. I attended the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut for both my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I specialize in working with Children and Adolescents and their families, however, I have experience with and enjoy serving all populations.

My training in play therapy and ACT allows me to help people accept their challenging thoughts and emotions instead of combating them. This reduces the distress that is caused by the emotions themselves. I'll help you to find your strengths and use those qualities to live a values driven life.

As each person is different, each therapy session will be a different experience for the individual. I will work with you to find achievable, values driven goals and work with you to achieve those goals.
