Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! To start, I want you to know I provide a no-fee 15 minute initial consultation session for prospective clients, because I believe a good fit is essential to effective counseling. This first meeting should allow you to determine that. I am a seasoned therapist with experience across three decades of supporting individuals, families, and groups. The core of my success has always been my ability to help people to efficiently and effectively achieve their goals. I look forward to meeting you.

My approach to therapy

I have worked in a variety of professional capacities in Child and Family Mental Health, military family support, men’s work, addictions treatment, executive coaching, fostering healthy relationships, and community-based domestic violence intervention. I am a practicum supervisor with the William Glasser Institute. My clinical practice combines, EMDR, CBT, Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy in combination with various wisdom traditions to help individuals achieve their desired goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take with them a sense of hope based on a clear understanding of their current circumstances/challenges, and a concrete plan toward attaining and maintaining long-term physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. In addition to my work as an LICSW licensed psychotherapist, I am an avid sailor, boatbuilder, and blues player. I love my time spent with family and friends, as well as anything to do with books and the great outdoors!
