Great to meet you!

I began providing therapy under supervision in 2019 and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2022. I have experience working with clients in both hospital and outpatient mental health settings and work primarily with adults and couples facing relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, and life transitions. In addition to my work as a therapist, I am an ordained pastor and am comfortable discussing spiritual concerns when they are important to a client. I welcome people from all backgrounds and beliefs and strive to provide a supportive environment where clients can talk openly about what is going on in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is conversational, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I do not want clients to feel like therapy is something being “done” to them, but rather a space where they can have genuine and meaningful conversations without judgment. I focus heavily on building authentic relationships so clients feel comfortable being themselves and opening up at their own pace. At the same time, I believe therapy should be practical, and I work with clients to develop tools and strategies they can use in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. I often encourage clients to treat the initial session almost like they are interviewing me, because it is important that you feel comfortable with the person you are trusting to walk alongside you through therapy. We will spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to get out of the process, and whether my approach feels like a good fit for your needs. At the end of the session, I encourage honest feedback, and you will not offend me if you decide I may not be the right fit for you—your time, comfort, and growth are important.
