Great to meet you!

I started my clinical career with a clinical internship in 2020-2021, followed by about 2.5 years in structured, time limited, home-based family therapy and crisis interventions. I still love providing family therapy and working in-home to literally meet you where you're at. I specifically prefer to work with parents, the perinatal and postpartum population, and clients who are struggling to declutter their homes and process trauma in a multigenerational family context.

My approach to therapy

I look at most mental health concerns through a systemic lens, and even though my primary client is you, the adult who is seeking care to facilitate growth and healing, I will consider your history, family of origin, environment, culture, and the impact you have on others in your world while collaborating with you to develop an appropriate treatment plan. I will encourage you to be accountable without taking on the burden of blame.

What you can expect from me

When we first meet, my first priority is to understand your goals, as well as the path you've taken so far in pursuing them and what you feel is in the way. I'll ask you a lot of personal questions with the intention to understand, while encouraging you to pace yourself in telling me your story and to let me know if any topics are too overwhelming at this time so that we don't overwhelm your nervous system in the first session. We'll also spend some time exploring your support system, interests, and your unique strengths.
