Great to meet you!

Seeking support is a deeply personal decision. My goal is to make sure you feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported every single step of the way.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over a decade of diverse healthcare experience. Having practiced across intensive care, trauma stepdown, emergency medicine, and acute psychiatry, I possess a comforting, comprehensive bedside manner that ensures you are treated as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Biology from Saint Francis University, and completed my Master of Science in Nursing specializing in psychiatry at Wilkes University. My extensive clinical foundation includes serving as a Charge Nurse and Emergency Department Care Coordinator within the Allegheny Health Network. Currently, I serve as an advanced practice provider at the UTHealth Houston Behavioral Sciences Campus.

I provide high-quality, convenient virtual medication management and psychiatric care for adults. I specialize in supporting individuals managing high-stress careers, everyday life transitions, and complex diagnoses, including:

  • Depression & Anxiety: Everyday strategies to manage chronic stress, worry, low mood, and panic.
  • Mood & Psychotic Disorders: Specialized management for Bipolar disorders, Schizophrenia, and Schizoaffective disorders.
  • Treatment-Resistant Conditions: Advanced strategies for complex or hard-to-treat depressive symptoms.
  • Co-Occurring Substance Use & Addictions: Safe, expert guidance for concurrent substance use recovery and mood stabilization.
  • Trauma, PTSD, & ADHD: Compassionate care to restore daily focus, executive functioning, and emotional stability.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is simple: I treat you as an active partner, not a chart. Because true mental wellness goes beyond just managing a prescription, I evaluate how your unique lifestyle, daily stressors, physical health, and biological factors connect with your mind.

Having managed high-intensity inpatient adult units, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), I bring strong clinical expertise to the table. However, I pair that background with a warm, down-to-earth energy. I focus on creating a relaxed, modern partnership where even the hardest conversations feel comfortable, collaborative, and entirely judgment-free. Your treatment will always be highly personalized to fit seamlessly into your life and personal goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on building an open, comfortable relationship where you can share your story safely. We will conduct a thorough initial psychiatric evaluation to review your past mental health history, current challenges, and physical health baseline.

We will also complete a lifestyle check-in to look at the full picture of your day-to-day routine, addressing sleep habits, chronic exhaustion, and signs of burnout. From there, we will work together to build a personalized treatment plan.Whether that involves medication management, targeted behavioral strategies, or specific lifestyle adjustments, you will play an active role in deciding your care so you can step into your next chapter with confidence.
