Great to meet you!

I love how Brené Brown says “Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”

It is a joy and an honor to walk alongside others in this process of storytelling. It requires courage, connection, compassion, and time. My hope is that you come to experience a safe place in order to engage in this work.

Also, if faith or spirituality is an area you would like to bring into this work (as a place of identity and/or pain), I’d love to explore this together.

My approach to therapy

Trust is built over time, and I seek to provide a safe place for this to develop. My hope is that you will feel seen, heard, and valued throughout the process. Each of us wrestle with stories, the ones we tell ourselves and the ones we have picked up along the way.

Wherever you find yourself along this healing journey, I hope that you won't feel alone as you sift through what is true and where there is a need for retelling.

Beyond my Masters Degree I have trauma-informed training in attachment.

What you can expect from me

Feeling nervous coming into the first session (or more) is very common. You can expect a welcoming atmosphere for us to get to know one another and for you to share some of the concerns that have brought you to therapy in this season. I would love to hear what you feel comfortable sharing about the more pressing issues as well as what you hope might be different on the other side of our potential work together. If you don’t know, that’s okay too. I’m here to walk alongside you in the process.
