Great to meet you!

My name is Michaela and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns.

Over the years, people have called me their counselor, therapist, motivator, cheerleader, wellness guide, and sometimes even their steadying force when life feels overwhelming. I take pride in being whatever support you need as you move toward a healthier, more grounded version of yourself.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida. With more than a decade of experience in the field, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations and walking alongside people through many different seasons of life.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in the belief that no single approach fits everyone. Instead of forcing you into a rigid framework, I tailor my therapeutic style to your needs, your pace, and your goals. My private practice focuses on supporting individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression, but my work extends far beyond symptom management.

I help clients build skills in:

  • Productivity and organization
  • Self-motivation and time management
  • Parenting and family dynamics
  • Education and career development
  • Wellness and lifestyle changes

My goal is always your overall well‐being. Whether we’re exploring patterns from the past or building new habits for the future, I aim to create a collaborative, empowering space where you feel seen, supported, and capable of meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin shaping a path forward. Clients often come to me wanting to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Cope with depression
  • Find purpose, passion, or direction
  • Strengthen boundaries
  • Build confidence and self‐awareness
  • Create healthier routines and habits
  • Overcome fear, instability, or self‐doubt

Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, what you hope to change, and what you want your life to feel like. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can unpack past experiences that may be holding you back and begin developing the tools to move beyond them.

My role is to help you break through barriers, reconnect with your strengths, and build a life that feels more stable, intentional, and fulfilling.
