Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Michaelia. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Mental Heath. I have several years of experience working with both adolescents, adults, and families. I am passionate about finding ways to support my clients through a variety of challenges and helping them reach their fullest potential.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have participated in a number of trainings and have educational background in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and DBT. I make an effort to utilize an eclectic approach, taking skills and interventions from various modalities to best meet my client's needs.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with each client to create a specialized treatment plan, specific to their particular needs. This allows clients to work collaboratively with me to set realistic and achievable goals for treatment. Through that process clients will learn effective coping strategies and improve their self-confidence.
