Great to meet you!

Do you lie awake with racing thoughts, replaying conversations and worrying about tomorrow? Do you avoid social situations because of anxiety or low self-esteem, then feel lonely after? Have you wondered if you have ADHD because focusing feels impossible? Are you using alcohol to fall asleep, waking up exhausted, and quietly asking yourself if drinking is becoming a problem? If this sounds familiar, you're not alone, and clicking to schedule a consultation can be a simple first step toward breaking the cycle.

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in psychiatry, counseling, and substance use care. I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, insomnia, burnout, alcohol use, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting veterans, seniors, individuals with bipolar disorder, impulse control disorders, and those dealing with grief, family conflict, and self-esteem challenges.

As someone who speaks with an accent and has lived in over 50 countries, I bring cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of what it's like to navigate different worlds and identities. I'm a parent of two children and share my home with three cats. My practice blends evidence-based treatment with a systems-focused and trauma-informed approach, and I'm here to offer care that's human, respectful, and collaborative, not cold or cookie-cutter.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I believe treatment works best when clients feel heard and actively involved in their care. I focus on understanding the full context of someone's life, biological, psychological, and social, and together we explore both medication and non-medication strategies that support meaningful change.

Anxiety, ADHD, burnout, sleep issues, mood dips, and patterns around alcohol can drain your energy. We'll clarify what's driving your symptoms and build a realistic plan that fits your life. Care may include medication when appropriate, plus practical tools you can use right away. With consistent care, my clients sleep better, feel less anxious and irritable, and see real gains in quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll complete a thorough assessment, clarify your concerns, and establish a treatment direction. We'll talk about what brings you in, your goals, and what has or hasn't worked in the past. My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in your treatment.

Does reaching out feel uncomfortable or overdue? Worried you'll be judged or brushed off? You deserve care that's thoughtful and tailored to your goals. You don't have to keep doing this alone. When you're ready, I'm here.
