Great to meet you!

I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel heard, understood, and valued. As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have over 9 years of experience serving children, adolescents, and their families. My heart is to walk alongside children and families with understanding, hope, and encouragement as we work together toward healing and brighter days ahead. I love animals of all kinds and often have one of my dogs by my side while working in my office. When I am not working, I love camping, spending time with my daughters and my husband, and serving at the lady's group in my church.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines evidenced based, psychiatric care with a compassionate, faith-informed perspective that honors each child's unique needs and each family's values. I strive to create a welcoming, personalized environment where children and families feel heard, supported, and empowered on their journey towards healing and growth. I enjoy partnering with my clients, and together, talking about potential solutions to move towards healing.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will get to know each other in a warm, welcoming, judgement-free environment. My goal is to have parents and their children feel comfortable, heard, and understood as we talk about your concerns, your child's experiences, strengths, and needs. Together, we will explore your child's mental health history, current challenges, and goals for care. We will discuss my recommendations, answer any questions you may have, and develop a personalized plan that feels right for your family.
