Great to meet you!

I am a professional counselor with over 25 years of clinical experience providing warm, client-centered therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, workplace challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical, using evidence-based methods such as CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed care.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to help you gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater emotional wellness, confidence, and balance.

My approach to therapy

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care to support clients in identifying patterns, building coping skills, strengthening self-awareness, and moving toward meaningful change. My approach is tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to begin sharing what brings them to therapy. We will take time to discuss current concerns, background information, symptoms, strengths, and what you hope to gain from counseling. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected while we begin identifying your needs and goals.

The first session is also an opportunity for us to explore what has been working, what feels challenging, and what kind of support may be most helpful moving forward. Together, we will begin developing a plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to your pace. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting; we will work together one step at a time.
