Great to meet you!

Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or not like yourself? You don’t have to navigate it alone. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 16 years of healthcare experience, I provide personalized medication management and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, and other mental health concerns. My goal is to help you feel better in your daily life with care that is supportive, practical, and tailored to your unique needs.

I founded Get Your Power Back because I believe mental health care should be personal, compassionate, and never rushed. I take the time to listen, explain your treatment options, answer your questions, and work with you to develop a plan that feels right for you. Whether you’re struggling with stress, persistent worry, low mood, trauma, difficulty sleeping, or wondering if medication might help, we’ll take things one step at a time so you feel informed, empowered, and involved in every decision.

My approach combines evidence-based treatment with a genuine therapeutic relationship. Clients often describe me as warm, direct, easy to talk to, and someone who truly listens. Whether your treatment includes therapy, medication, or both, my goal is to help you better understand your mental health, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting progress so you can regain your confidence and get your power back.

My approach to therapy

I provide clear, collaborative care that is personalized to your unique needs and focused on helping you feel better in your daily life. My approach combines medication management and therapy, with a special focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, and stress-related concerns. Together, we’ll explore your symptoms, discuss your treatment options, and develop a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

Clients often describe me as warm, direct, supportive, and easy to talk to. I believe in providing practical tools you can begin using right away while also helping you understand the underlying patterns that may be affecting your mood, sleep, relationships, and overall well-being. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, more confident, and empowered to take an active role in your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a calm, structured conversation where we get to know each other and identify what you need most. We’ll talk about your symptoms, sleep patterns, stressors, and any past experiences with medication or therapy. I’ll explain how treatment works, what options make sense for you, and what steps we’ll take together.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a clear plan, realistic next steps, and a sense of direction. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported — never rushed or judged — from the very first visit.
