Great to meet you!

Michele Crump-Hart, LCSW

My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring what has brought you to therapy and where you want to go from here. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist matters.

With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the everyday stress that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Whether you're navigating a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, we'll work together to identify meaningful goals and build practical skills that support lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's needs. I use evidence-based practices, including Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, to help clients better understand themselves, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing and strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to work toward their personal goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I'll encourage you to ask any questions you have about the therapy process so you can feel informed and at ease. We'll discuss your primary concerns, review relevant background information, and explore what you hope to achieve through therapy. Together, we'll identify patterns and symptoms, discuss any applicable diagnostic criteria, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals, strengths, and preferences. This first session is about understanding where you are now and creating a path forward that feels meaningful and achievable.
