Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 26 years of experience. I have been providing mental health services to clients in Florida since 2013. I value building supportive relationships with both clients and professional colleagues.

I earned her bachelor’s degree from Catawba College in1993, where I double majored in Sociology and Clinical Psychology. I completed my Master of Social Work degree from Barry University in Florida in 1996.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is practical, strengths-based, and focused on the “here and now.” I use an eclectic approach that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Systems/Family Therapy, Cognitive Reframing Therapy, and Exposure Response Training.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in (OCD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, (PTSD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Mood Disorders, Mental Health and Addictions.

I believe each person has unique needs and strengths. My treatment approach encourages clients to build confidence, rely on their own abilities, and move forward without limiting labels, judgment or disempowering beliefs.
