Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m an independent therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University and have been licensed since 2019. My background includes five years in community mental health, two years in hospital settings, and one year in hospice care. I work with individuals experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, and end-of-life concerns. I also have a passion for faith-centered therapy and welcome clients who wish to incorporate their faith into counseling, while equally welcoming those who prefer a secular approach. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and encouraged as you navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I believe every person has a unique story, and I tailor therapy to your individual needs, strengths, and goals while helping you develop healthy coping skills and build resilience. I strive to meet you where you are with empathy and understanding, recognizing that healing and growth look different for everyone. I also have a passion for faith-centered therapy and welcome incorporating faith and spirituality into our work together if you desire, while fully respecting those who prefer a secular approach.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, begin building trust, and help you feel comfortable in the therapeutic space. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss what you hope to get out of our time together. Depending on your needs, we may also introduce a small skill or practice you can begin using between sessions. As you feel ready, we can begin exploring things more deeply at a pace that feels comfortable for you, always respecting your needs, boundaries, and personal goals.
