Great to meet you!

I am the founder of Mind Matters Psychotherapy and I have an extensive background working with adults, children and families. I use a mixture of cognitive behavioral, solution focused, mindfulness, stress management and insight-oriented techniques depending on the needs of each client. I strive to help clients’ emotional wounds heal in order to regain inner peace and improve personal growth and overall functioning.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy considers that the mind and body are integral parts of a whole being. Achieving balance between these parts is an important component of the healing process and my goal is to help clients achieve this stability. My approach is warm, supportive and interactive while striving to develop a safe, trusting and positive therapeutic relationship with each unique client.

What you can expect from me

Sessions provide a safe and supportive place for clients to explore, process and discuss circumstances that cause distress in their lives. I work with clients to help them enhance their strengths and develop improved coping skills in order to get them through hard times in their lives. Together we will work on establishing positive changes in order to improve social/emotional functioning and overall quality of life.
