Great to meet you!

I specialize in trauma treatment and I'm trained in EMDR trauma processing therapy. I also work with Attachment Theory and provide education and interventions for experiences of narcissistic abuse.

I deeply empathize with marginalized communities. I have extensive experience working with BIPOC and LGBTQI+ clients-especially with trans adults and teens.

As a former school counselor, I also have extensive experience understanding, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, etc.

My approach to therapy

I work from a Relational-Cultural Theory position emphasizing the importance of collaboration, shared power, and mutual learning. It is a culturally responsible approach and emphasizes that relationships can be supportive or harmful. Through building a collaborative and mutually respected partnership, healing work happens.

What you can expect from me

I provide a safe space, and provide a lot of psychoeducation, resources, and share my own experiences and journey at times, which many clients have shared, makes me approachable and I normalize things that have often made them feel isolated and alone. I will challenge, but in time after rapport has grown. I will be empowering and validating.
