Great to meet you!

Michele has spent her life helping others. She is a therapist and a rabbi. Ordained at Hebrew Union College in NYC in 1997. She has been a congregational rabbi for 25 years. In 2016 she received her D.Min., in interfaith clinical and pastoral counseling. She can add a spiritual dimension if interested. She works with adults, helping with life's transitions or working on past experiences that continue to hold them back. Michele has two special focus areas: complex trauma, and grief and loss.

My approach to therapy

Through telehealth, Michele provides a safe, non-judgmental, caring space for clients. Being able to discuss life's various stresses can be healing in itself. For others, a more comprehensive counseling program is available. She practices Holistic/Integrative Therapy by using various techniques to best help her clients including: Talk Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems) & Positive Psychology. What you can expect from me

Michele's goal in each session to help you feel listened to and truly heard, cared for, safe, and not judged. She aspires to help you on your journey towards calm, peace, and healing. Michele individualizes her therapy based on each client's needs. No one is ever pushed to share things they are not yet ready to share. With time, clients feel more comfortable talking about their challenges, past and present, that can get in the way of healing.
