Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Michele Moore, LCSW-S. I am a native of Dallas, Texas. I received a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 1992 from the University of Texas at Austin. I began my social work career soon after graduating. After several years of providing case management and therapeutic support to clients through non-profits and state mental health state, I decided to seek further graduate-level education in the field. I then went on to complete a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) in 1999 from the University of Texas at Arlington.

I have almost 35 years of experience in the social work profession. I have worked with a range of people experiencing anxiety, depression, loss & grief, other life transitions, etc. As a licensed clinical social worker, I am also a board approved supervisor and hold licenses in Texas and California.

For over 20 years, I have worked to improve the quality of life for our country’s Military and Veterans. I have also traveled close to the borders of Texas and Mexico providing support to women and children seeking new beginnings while escaping abuse and trauma. Additionally, I have traveled to Ghana in West Africa to offer educational and emotional support to over 350 students in a small town outside of Accra, the capital city.

Thank you for allowing me to assist you in taking the first steps to seek counseling and support. I hope that we are a good fit for each other and I can be of assistance in your journey to heal.

Respectfully submitted,

Michele Moore, LCSW-S
