Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Michele Walden, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of integrative mental healthcare experience. I specialize in helping adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, sleep concerns, women’s mental health issues, grief, trauma-related symptoms, and major life transitions.

Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, caregivers, and individuals who appear successful outwardly but feel emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected internally. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel genuinely heard and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy, coping strategies, mindfulness-informed techniques, and whole-person mental healthcare. I believe treatment works best when it is collaborative, individualized, and focused on both emotional wellness and overall quality of life.

I strive to help patients build resilience, emotional balance, healthier coping patterns, and a stronger sense of well-being while creating realistic and sustainable treatment goals together.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take time to discuss your current concerns, emotional health history, lifestyle factors, stressors, symptoms, and treatment goals in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning.

The initial appointment is a collaborative conversation focused on gaining a clear understanding of what you are experiencing and how it may be affecting your daily life, relationships, sleep, mood, focus, and overall well-being.

Together, we will explore treatment options that may include supportive therapy, coping strategies, lifestyle recommendations, and when appropriate, medication management. I believe treatment works best when it is individualized, thoughtful, and aligned with your personal goals and values.

Many clients leave the first visit feeling relieved to finally have a plan, greater clarity about what they are experiencing, and hope that meaningful improvement is possible.
