Great to meet you!

Great to meet you !

I am Micha (Mee-sha), a licensed Mental Health Counselor with four years of experience with a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. I work with adults and adolescents navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and life transitions.

I believe no one should be defined by their most difficult experiences. Every individual brings unique strengths, challenges, and hopes into therapy. My priority is to understand what matters to you and offer compassionate, individualized care.

Together, we will build on your strengths and work toward meaningful improvements in your emotional well-being and everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on your needs. I believe trust and open communication are essential to building a strong therapeutic relationship in therapy. I combine active listening, thoughtful feedback, and practical guidance to encourage self-awareness, emotional growth, and positive change. My work incorporates Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy skills, person-centered therapy, and strengths-based approaches, tailored to your goals. I’m particularly passionate about working with women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strive to offer a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where clients can address emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and life transitions with confidence.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental space where you can feel at ease and be yourself. We’ll take time to understand what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and talk about what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and establishing a foundation of trust, understanding and collaboration to support your journey toward meaningful change.
