Great to meet you!

Hi I'm Michelle! I am a New York City native, born to Jamaican parents, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience supporting adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. My personal and professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to community, cultural awareness, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that while each person’s story is unique, our shared human experiences connect us. I recognize that hardships, relationships, and life circumstances can shape how we understand ourselves and navigate the world. I integrate my professional experiences with evidence-based approaches to provide compassionate, individualized care.

What you can expect from me

During the intake process, we will explore your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals to develop a treatment approach tailored to your needs. Progress may look different for everyone and can include increased self-awareness, healthier coping skills, improved relationships, emotional healing, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward with hope.
