Great to meet you!

Rewritten Introduction

My name is Michelle Brown, and I am a clinical social worker with a deep commitment to supporting people through life’s challenges. Over the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan—from toddlers and children to adolescents and adults—in both virtual and in-person settings. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of how emotional wellness develops and changes throughout different stages of life.

In my work, I value creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. I approach therapy with a creative and solution-focused mindset, helping individuals identify practical steps that move them toward healing, stability, and growth. My goal is always to meet people where they are, recognize their strengths, and partner with them to build meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

Throughout my career, I have been guided by a belief that compassionate support, practical tools, and thoughtful reflection can help people navigate difficult experiences and move toward a healthier and more balanced life.

I use a combination of therapy methods to work with my clients to make their treatment individualized. I have training in Cognitive Behavior Theory and Dialectic Behavior Theory and Trauma Theory.

What you can expect from me

My goal from our first session is to establish trust because a therapeutic relationship cannot grow if you don't trust the person you are working with.
