Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in supporting adults from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds through a wide range of mental health challenges. My clinical focus includes working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, attachment-related issues, adjustment disorders, and substance use. I am trained in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative therapeutic environment that fosters growth and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, with a strong emphasis on attachment theory and the impact of early childhood trauma. I believe in empowering clients to make healthy, intentional lifestyle choices that support emotional healing and contribute to a more fulfilling, balanced life.

What you can expect from me

I believe it is important to equip clients with practical tools they can use between sessions to support their growth and healing. This may include journal assignments, thought records, meditation or mindfulness activities that reinforce communication skills introduced during our time together. Through these exercises, clients can expect to deepen their self-awareness, become more attuned to their innermost thoughts and emotions, and begin to release painful experiences from the past that may be holding them back.
