Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience, I have been helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful personal growth. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, stress, grief and loss, and relationship and family difficulties.

My goal is to provide a comfortable, accepting space where clients can feel heard, gain insight, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward a greater sense of confidence and fulfillment. I bring warmth, empathy, authenticity, and definitely some humor to my work. I believe that therapy should feel both supportive and empowering.

Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and my crazy dog Kelly. I love reading, practicing hot yoga, hiking with my family.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and understanding. My primary approach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while also incorporating other therapeutic techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. I will work collaboratively with clients to better understand the patterns that may be affecting their emotional well-being and to develop practical tools for creating positive change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, compassion, and understanding. I’ll take time to learn about what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.
