Great to meet you!
My name is Michelle Charness-Adams. I hold an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles, a PsyD (Doctorate in Clinical Psychology), and a JD in law. I believe everyone deserves a chance to live their best life, and therapy can help achieve this in a nurturing, empathic, and caring environment. I strive to support clients on their journey toward self-awareness, acceptance, and self-love within a space grounded in trust, safety, and validation. My clinical focus includes trauma, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), abuse, grief, domestic violence, self-esteem, couples dynamics, and suicidal ideation. Additionally, I write a blog on Psychology Today exploring the intersection of law and mental health.
