Great to meet you!

My clinical experience includes work with children, adolescents, women, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues or with those who have experienced physical abuse, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. I am experienced and certified with EMDR. In addition, my clinical practice includes experience working with couples to address communication issues, conflict resolution, and intimacy concerns. I have also facilitated DBT groups for families and children. Beyond my MSW degree, my background includes extensive experience in practical social work, K-12 teaching, and comprehensive clinical therapy and counseling engagement.

My approach to therapy

Empathy, trust, and psychological safety are the foundational qualities and outcomes that I first and foremost bring to my clients. My clients feel genuinely seen and understood without judgment. An empathetic understanding of a client's perspective helps me to connect on a deeper, more personal level and to tailor methods and techniques to meet individual needs. The goal is always to support clients toward greater self-awareness and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

In a first session with me, clients can expect a warm welcome, an open dialogue, and a safe place to get to know each other. I view the counseling process as collaborative - where I work closely with individuals to identify their goals and to address their physical, emotional, and relational needs.
