Hello! I'm so glad you're here. I have been in the social work field for over eight years and enjoy working with people who have experienced trauma and grief. I completed my degree in New York and moved to Florida a couple years ago where I opened Flagstone Therapy. I'm excited for you to take this next step and see if we are a good fit.
I use a trauma informed approach with all clients and try to make each client or family I work with be very individualized.
In the first session, we will be zooming in to the reasons you're wanting to be in therapy and then zooming out to tell me about yourself. Each first session I take time to check in and see how comfortable clients feel in the therapy room. Some people feel at ease and others may take more time to feel a sense of comfort. Either way, we will navigate it together.
