Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Michelle DeGennaro a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 6 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree from Quinnipiac University where I specialized in mental health. I've also completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Grief Therapy to better support my clients.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every individual is the expert of their own life. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I use a client-centered framework, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals. I have experience working with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders and anger management. I've worked with the veteran population and their family members.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions you’ll find a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we’ll work to identify your treatment goals and develop practical strategies to help you achieve them. My goal is to empower you to feel more confident, resilient, and connected to yourself and others.
