Great to meet you!

I am a Hispanic 1st generation female who has worked extensively with the Hispanic population and have experience treating behavioral health symptoms related to intergenerational trauma and complex trauma. I worked in a variety of settings including shelter, health centers, and in the hospital setting. I earned my social work degree at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College focusing on clinical practice with individuals and families with a specialization in health and mental health.

My approach to therapy

I find being curious about one's culture, background and family dynamics is crucial to understanding the impact it has on our development of self. I like to utilize an integrated approach to understand the mind and body connection.

What you can expect from me

Genuine connection and a deeper understanding of how to heal wounds from the past
