I have been working in the community for over 20 years providing mental health counseling. I attended the University of South Alabama for my Master’s Degree and obtained my LPC in 2004. It specialize in treating depression, anxiety, life adjustment issues, and substance use.

I work with patients in a collaborative fashion working together to identify the core issues and goals for therapy. I use a client centered approach with a focus on identifying and challenging thought patterns that affect emotions and behaviors.

The first session consists of doing an assessment to gather background information, explore reason for starting therapy, identifying goals and developing a plan for treatment. Each patient will leave the first session with identified goals to work on for the next session.
