Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Michelle Egbert, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing quality evidence-based psychiatric services. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002. I am a wife and mother to 5 children ages 11 to 22. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to reach out for help and support. I do my best to provide a non-judgmental, safe space where you can express your concerns. I look forward to meeting with you!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a holistic, comprehensive, non-judgmental approach that begins with a thorough assessment of your history and past and present concerns and symptoms. Together we will develop a treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, lifestyle modifications, or a combination of all three. I work closely with you to monitor your progress, adjust medications, and address any concerns or side effects you may be experiencing.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to get a better understanding of your condition including insight into your mental health diagnosis, contributing factors, and how it impacts your life. We will also work on coping strategies to help you manage symptoms, such as relaxation techniques, cognitive reframing, or problem solving skills. I will offer support and validation and we will regularly track your progress, improvements, setbacks, and next steps in your treatment journey.
