Great to meet you!
Hello and welcome!
I’m Michelle Estevez, a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida International University in Miami, where I focused on Geriatric Social Work Practice and Advanced Clinical Training in Addictions. For nearly 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults and older adults across community, private, and non-profit settings.
My path into this field was driven by a deep desire to support people through the challenges that come with life transitions, aging, and emotional struggles. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside clients facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, caregiver burnout, insecurity, attachment concerns, and the uncertainty of “not knowing what’s next.” These are struggles I know many of us face at some point in life, and my goal is to help you feel less alone and more empowered in how you navigate them.
I specialize in working with adults and elders who are adjusting to change—whether it’s the loss of a loved one, the stress of caregiving, navigating the aging process, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I tailor each session to your needs and often integrate practical tools to help you build coping skills, improve communication, and find more balance in your daily life.
I’m committed to being an informed and evolving therapist, which is why I continue to attend trainings and stay current on evidence-based practices. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds in the language they feel most comfortable with.
Therapy with me is about creating a safe space where you can process your experiences, gain clarity, and strengthen your ability to face life’s challenges with confidence.
