Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Michelle Falco, LCSW, a psychotherapist and Columbia University graduate with over five years of experience supporting adults and adolescents through anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, and life transitions.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re used to holding it all together. My goal is to offer a space that feels safe, real, and nonjudgmental, where you can finally exhale, organize what you’re carrying, and start moving toward meaningful change.

I believe therapy isn’t just about coping it’s about helping you reconnect to who you truly are, and learning how to live in alignment with that truth.

My approach to therapy

I offer therapy that is warm, grounded, and effective.

My style is both compassionate and practical, we will explore what’s happening beneath the surface while also building real tools you can use in everyday life. I blend holistic support with evidence-based approaches to help you reduce symptoms, shift patterns, and create lasting change.

Many of my clients come to me feeling:

  • overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
  • stuck in cycles of anxiety or overthinking
  • discouraged, disconnected, or depressed
  • trapped in food/body struggles or perfectionism
  • unsure of who they are outside of survival mode

Together, we’ll work on emotional regulation, self-trust, clarity, confidence, and healthier coping so life feels less heavy and more yours.

At the core of my work is this belief:

Every person carries their own intelligence, brilliance, and uniqueness, therapy is where we uncover that.

What you can expect from me

I always start with a session that helps us get clear on:

  • what you’re struggling with right now
  • what you want to feel different
  • what you’ve already tried
  • what support would actually help

In therapy with me, you can expect:

  • a steady, supportive relationship
  • a space where you can be honest without judgment
  • guidance that is both gentle and direct
  • insight and tools that help you create real progress
  • collaboration, we work as a team

My clients often tell me sessions feel like a mix of: being deeply seen and learning how to finally move forward.
