Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but more importantly, I am a safe space, an advocate, a collaborator, and a sounding board. I specialize in trauma/intergenerational trauma, depression, anxiety, identity incongruency, and general life stage/cycle challenges. I am EMDR trained, and a Certified Grief Informed Counselor.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Focuses on the premise that our thoughts affect the way we feel and behave. Goal is to restructure our cognitive processes, so that we can create more adaptive perceptions of ourselves and others.

Family Systems: Works from a relational mindset, and explores family dynamics, patterns, and multigenerational narratives.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy: Uncovers solutions that already exist by focusing on your internal strengths and doing more of what is already working.

What you can expect from me

My goal for our work together is to explore, process, and gently question unhealthy patterns to see if we can create more productive ones. I acknowledge the importance of using a culturally sensitive and humble lens throughout the duration of our work. I am able to provide short-term and brief therapy interventions, or longer-term treatment plans dedicated to exploration of your past. My commitment is to meet you where you are, and together we can explore where you want to go next.
